The Bridge × Young Painter Prize

This selection presents works by young artists from Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, and Ukraine. Most of the artists are finalists of the 2025 and 2026 Young Painter Prize (YPP); the selection also includes several additional works by young artists.

The Young Painter Prize (YPP) is an independent contemporary art platform founded in Lithuania in 2009. Its aim is to discover, present, and support young painters and to create meaningful professional opportunities for them. YPP is open to artists aged 18–33 connected to Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, and Ukraine.

Each year, works submitted through an open call are evaluated by an independent international jury of art professionals. Selected finalists present their work in YPP exhibitions across the Baltic states, while award recipients receive cash prizes, art residencies, and other opportunities for professional development.

This selection invites audiences to discover recent painting by young artists and, by acquiring a work, to contribute directly to their creative journey.
